My dog Kirby was a fighter to the end. He had been steadily declining and has been “in hospice care” according to my vet for almost a year. He was 9 1/2 years old and was my first long time pet. I am missing him terribly and I’m sure I will be for a while. I keep breaking into tears. I can’t really believe he’s gone.

Sorry to hear this.. My family dog passed away last year at the age of 16 and we where all in a mess… Always remember the good times ..

I’m heartbroken for you. I know how it is to lose you best animal friend, who was by your side almost constantly. It will be tough for a while. Thinking of you.

He went everywhere with me. I left my car running summer and winter so he could run errands with me.

I knew I would be heart broken but I honestly didn’t think I would feel this bad. He went everywhere with me. So many triggers.
