I felt very lucky to capture the shadow of one of the gulls flying. These birds were NOT happy that I was in “their” parking lot.

inI live very near Lake Ontario and while the foliage map for NY State shows most of the state past peak, it says that we are at peak by the shore of Lake Ontario. I don’t think we are at peak yet because there is still a lot of green. When I took this picture Lake Ontario was just behind me.
The geese were a bonus 🙂

I’m really writing this post because I hit two milestones today. 100 posts here on WordPress (who would have thought) and 1,000 posts on Tumblr. Of course it’s not all original as reblogs count. Still, I am amazed that I have had that many posts! Thanks to all who have encouraged me 🙂
