I had a hard time with this one. It has been rainy and cold – too difficult to get out to take pictures. All of my archived pictures of people by themselves, the people are smiling. I think of solitude as loneliness even though it can be defined as being alone.
The above picture is at the back of our house where we have cellar doors. I was in the basement and my dog won’t go down the stairs (they are a bit funky, can’t say as I blame him.) He is alone but doesn’t want to be.
The above garden was part of one I designed and planted. I started with a concrete patio covered with green indoor/outdoor carpeting. Quite a transformation 😀
My other “bliss” is found with my dog. I especially like when he is relaxed and/or cuddly.
I couldn’t pick so I posted them both.
I have always felt very fortunate to live near such a large body of water. There are several piers near me and it has always been a favorite activity to walk on the pier. One of the piers is shown on the left in the first picture. I always find some peace when I’m near water no matter what is going on in my life.
A completely different type of water. The historical Erie Canal.
The last I experimented with some more advanced editing tools.
It’s been a funny year for color by the lake. The leaves turning very late and not great colors. Still, I think I found some nice trees Friday at my appointment. I’m glad I went.
